There is a short video of the engine running to view copy and paste this link: https://youtu.be/PJim-wmeBIo I have owned the car personally for nearly 20 years, I do not have an ebay account so have been allowed to use the companies ebay account. If you buy the car you will be buying from me privately, V5 is in my name, I am happy to take bank transfer or cash on collection To Be Fair To All Genuine Buyers The Car Will Not Be Removed From Auction. There Is No Buy It Now Price. This Is A Public Auction, Very Low Start Price and No Reserve. Finished in Almond Green and named as Molly by my daughter 20 years ago This was the lead car that I drove in the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Manchester 4th August 2002 (for which I got a Common Wealth Games Medal) She lead with my co leader 40 cars into the stadium (you can find this on you tube google Morris Minors closing Ceremony Manchester Commonwealth games) Its a Series 3 Professional Conversion By Charles Ware (Morris Minor Center) in Bath in around 1998There is a class for this in the Morris Minors Owners Club and a recognized professional conversion by insurance companiesThe conversion makes an old car great to drive in modern traffic She has has thousands of pounds spent on her and comes with all bills and receipts, It also has Charles Ware folder and all the original information regarding the Series 3 Conversion Part of the restoration was 1275 EngineSuspension Front & RearDisc BrakesServo FittedLarger Radiator (Needs Re-Core)Lower 13" WheelsBoot Shelf Altered For Wider 13" Spare Wheel5 Speed Sierra Gearbox New Interior With Wider Drivers Seat & Head Rest (interior still good) There was lots more done as well, you would need to read through all the paperwork I had a panel professionally fitted and welded at the rear a few years ago and never got round to fitting the wing back on and she has sat in my garage since I asked a local garage to take her away recently and get her running, I bought a brand new fuel pump which they fitted but never connected. They got her running from an auxiliary fuel tank but they do not do welding and and there is a short video of the engine running at their garage (Copy and Paste the link at the top of the listing)There is also a picture of the floor when it was on their ramps (which all seems ok see pictures). She needs welding from what I have seen and been told, Hole in the boot (see pictures)Sills both sides (See pictures)Drivers door where hinges mount there is some movement but cant see any rustThere is some bubbling at n/s rear seam below window (see pictures)Needs new radiator coreFuel tank and lines the garage recommended as a precaution should be cleaned out first, that why the did not connect the new fuel pump I have the rear wing new green rubber seal, front grill etc see pictures She was a lovely car to drive and I had years of fun from her and she will be missed There may be others items to attend to and I do not have ramps or facility to weld her so have decided to let her go as a project with no reserve to a new home and life She is a great project and too good to be left to rot away and an absolute bargain for someone So if you are looking for a project this is the ideal base as these conversions fetch a premium now You are welcome to come and look around her if you wish, I have been as honest and as accurate as possible, but any questions please ask It go's without question that this is a good project, you will have to do work before using her on the public roads, but she is an ideal base You will need to have her trailed away or recovery truck, or towed, I have an folding a frame (the same as the RAC used to use) thats as new that can be bough separately for £200 you could tow her home on thatThere are lots of firms on ebay that do this and on the internet, there are also a couple of firms in Southport that move cars and I can ask them for a quote if you send your post code I dont want any time wasters and really want her to go to a new home I was going to send her back to Charles Ware (their prices are very fair) and ask them to do the work on her, but I have 1930s and 1940s cars and just dont have the time any more At auction end I would like paying right away, I have moved the car to my work where she it now under cover in our yard, so you can collect at a time suitable to youThere is no rush as long as its a few months and not years and no charge to store her, but you need to pay me and I will put the car in your name online with DVLA PAYMENTBy bank transfer or on collectionNo other payment methods taken
