FORWARD, BRAKE & REVERSE BRUSHED AND BRUSHLESS ESC This new model of speed controller allows you to use the same motors as the older TEU101BK/104BK/105BK units (i.e. 25 turn or higher with any brand or Tamiya's 23 turn Sport Tune and GT Tune, plus of course the standard kit motors) but also has the ability to use Tamiya's own brushless motors at a later date, meaning you don't have to change your ESC to upgrade to brushless. 3 Cable Output to Motor - only 2 used with Brushed motor. This ESC is especially designed for use with the TBLM series of Tamiya Brushless Motors (Sensored-Type, 10.5T, 12.5T, 14.5T, 16.5T). Brake and neutral brake settings can be adjusted independently, and it features 3 protection systems against overheating, overloading and low voltage. It is also compatible with brushed motors (Normal Type 540 and Sports-Tuned Motors 25 Turn or higher). Note: When using servos with a current exceeding 1.5A, BEC output may be shut down. When using a Brushless Motor, a Tamiya sensor lead is required (this is not included with the pack). IMPORTANT - This ESC features a LIFE Shutdown of 5v. It is therefore NOT suitable for use with LIPO batteries but is fine with NIMH. This version is supplied exactly as pictured. It is supplied ex-factory in a bag with instructions.
